Wokeness is generally something adopted by people who would support the left or the far-left, and is thusly a left-wing ideology for the most part. However, to support a left-wing political party or even to believe left-wing political ideolodies is not necessarily to be woke because not all of the left agrees with make woke ideas such as; cancel culture, LGBTQIA+ rights or feminism, at least to the extent that woke implies.
