Hello. Actual transgender (nonbinary) person here. Sex, gender, and gender identity are separate concepts. Sex is biological, and it includes male, female, and intersex. Gender is a social construct, sometimes based on biological and physiological characteristics. However, different societies/cultures have various levels of gender diversity. For example, Native Americans have two-spirit, India has Hijra, Mexico has Muxe/Muxhe, etc. Gender identity is a person's inherent sense of gender or lack thereof, either regardless of, in spite of, or because of their sex or social gender. I can go into more detail if necessary.

A transwoman (male to female transperson) has the reproductive system and secondary sex characteristics of a male. However, the brain is that of a cisgender woman. This is also vice versa for transmen (female to male transperson with male brain and female body).

I have some issues with this statement all around. As a christian, I do not believe in transgender or same sex marriage, but I do not believe that these statements are justified. I believe the rights to classify yourself as transgender fall under the first amendment in the constitution as the freedom of religion and should be allowed in the country. Now when I say allowed, I don't mean always agreed with because like I said, I don't agree with those viewpoints personally. Don't get me wrong, some of them are great people and some of the most open minded people I have ever met. I do however have issues when the transgender view points are pushed onto people and I believe that is wrong. As long as your views aren't pushed on me, I really don't care what you do or classify yourself as.

It does not affect your life in any way. You have the right to call someone whatever you want, but it doesn't mean you won't be hated for it. Yes, biologically a man can never be a woman and vice versa. But it makes them comfortable and happy. Would you rather have a cisgender friend that is depressed, suicidal, mean, etc or a happy, kind transgender friend?

Its their body, their choice. Whether or not they want to change it, its up to them, not us. Yes, we can judge, but in order to judge them we would have to know the actual reasoning on why they would change themselves. Maybe a perspective from an actual trans would change your opinions towards trans people unless your head is like a stone.
